Can Students attend without submitting a nomination? Can we bring a plus one?

What is a Gala?

A formal event to honor professionals in the field of Early Childhood Studies. The night will include a reception, three course meal, award ceremony and an opportunity for networking. 

Yes. There will a limited amount of tickets for public sale. Please go to "HOME" and click on the RSPV button to purchase your tickets. Plus ones are allowed as long as they have purchased a seperate ticket. Tickets will go on sale in March.  

How will Awards be choosen and who gets to attend the GALA? 

Awards will go through a three-step blind review by the GALA Committee.  

Who qualifies as a reference to support my nomination? 

Anyone who can attest to the nominee's contributions to the field qualify as a reference. We highly suggest adding references to your nomination package to support your award candidate. 

What is the dress code? 

Semi-Formal attire for this event is recommended. Please look refer to the "GALLERY" for attire reference. 

Can I bring my children? 

Yes, children are most welcome to join the event! We will have student volunteers providing childcare during the event in the Early Childhood Studies classroom. The classroom is in the same building as the event. If your child(ren) require additional support, please email us ahead of time so we can prepare our environment and volunteers.
