What is B.L.O.O.M?
BLOOM is an acronym for Becoming Leaders Of Open Mentorship.
In the field of Early Childhood Studies, professional excellence blossoms from the beautiful mentorship that happens among professionals and between professionals and students. Mentorship involves sharing knowledge and experiences, celebrating successes, and trusting ourselves and each other to take risks and rise from failure. All in pursuit of advancing the field of Early Childhood Studies through passion, empathy and leadership.

The Bloom Gala was founded by the Early Childhood Studies program at the University of Guelph-Humber. This event recognizes professional excellence in the field of Early Childhood Studies.
Professional excellence is recognized in the profession of childcare, education, pediatrics, early intervention, research, family support and more.
